The Hybrid Controller – noiseless and fully automatic!
This device for an automated fan control combines the advantages of an automatic temperature control via a sensor with the “hearable” benefits of a step transformer. The Hybrid Controller Pro uses software-based temperature sensor technology combined with a mechanical system to control the fan speed. It keeps the temperature in the room constant and simultaneously ensures a constant air flow. The ideal solution for maximum noise reduction during the operation of exhaust fans – no humming or buzzing from any kind of fan – GUARANTEED!
In addition, the PRO software of the Hybrid Controller will keep the humidity under control as well, in fact when it matters the most ? during the night-cycle!
Achieving the correct negative air pressure
Instructions:
2 . Set the MINIMUM fan speed with dial 1 (e.g., level 1)
3 . Set the desired temperature using dial 2 (e.g. 25 °C )
4 . Set the MAXIMUM fan speed with dial 3 (e.g., level 5 )
5 . Place the temperature sensor in your room. Note; do not place in direct airflow or directly under a light source.
6 . Place the light sensor in the room, facing the light source; do not remove the cap yet! *
7 . Now connect the Hybrid Controller PRO to the power source.* PRO function deactivated (cap is on the sensor)
As long as the cap is not removed, the PRO function will not be activated. Use the PRO feature only when humidity control is critical.* PRO function activated (cap removed)
The PRO feature ensures that extra air is refreshed at night, even if the temperature does not require more ventilation.
As soon as the sensor detects that it is dark, the fans will run 1 level faster for 7 minutes every hour.
The high humidity that occurs during the night will thus be removed from the room.
This slight increase of the fan speed will not affect the temperature.
Since moisture problems generally occur at night, the PRO function will turn off as soon as the light turns on and the controller will run in the normal mode.
Please note, that once the PRO feature is activated, you only can disable this function by a reset. (Briefly unplug the Hybrid Controller from the power, replace the cap on the sensor, then plug the controller back in).Maximum load: 8A or 1800 watt
